Nyanshegu CHPS Compound, Northern Region
The Community's Healthcare Challenge
Nyanshegu’s growing population faced limited access to healthcare services, creating challenges for families seeking timely treatment, particularly for malaria, maternal healthcare and childhood illnesses.
Why We Intervened
Improving access to healthcare remains central to our mission. By investing in healthcare infrastructure, we help strengthen disease prevention, reduce avoidable deaths and improve health outcomes in underserved communities.
What We Built
The Foundation constructed a fully equipped Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound to serve Nyanshegu and surrounding communities. The facility was officially handed over on 24 July 2018 by our Founder and Chairperson, H.E. Mrs Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo.
The Impact on the Community
