mission statement

Fighting Malaria Through Education, Action and Awareness

The Problem

Malaria is preventable and treatable — yet it continues to cripple Ghana. In remote villages, treatment can cost more than a family earns in a month, so even subsidized care goes unused when it isn't free.

The Approach

IMPF bridges the gap between poverty and malaria prevention, bringing lifesaving messaging and materials to underserved communities across Ghana while tirelessly working to make testing and treatment completely free for every family.

Track Record

So far, we have distributed thousands of insecticide-treated nets, invested in larvicide spraying across communities, and delivered free malaria testing, treatment, and education to families throughout urban and rural Ghana for over a decade.

Looking Ahead

We're developing a Mobile Clinic — funded by donors and fundraising — to reach every village in Ghana with free testing, treatment, and education. Village by village, we're working toward one goal: zero deaths and illnesses from malaria.
